How to Use the Wine Bottle Opener
Unscrew the cap/cover from the needle
Turn it clockwise to remove it (righty-tighty to loosen the cap).
Attach the needle to the pump handle
Screw the needle firmly onto the pressure rod (turn counter-clockwise / left to tighten).
Insert the needle into the bottle
Push the needle straight through the center of the cork until it fully penetrates. Hold the bottle firmly with one hand (cover the top/neck for safety).
Move the handle up and down steadily. Usually 4–8 pumps are enough – keep pumping until the cork slowly slides out of the bottle neck. (Stop immediately if you feel strong resistance – do not over-pump.)
Remove the cork from the needle
Once the cork is out, gently pull or twist the cork off the needle.
Screw the protective cap/cover back onto the needle (counter-clockwise to tighten) and store the opener.
Safety tips
- Always point the bottle away from people and fragile objects.
- Never use on sparkling wine or champagne (risk of explosion).
- Works best on natural corks; may not work on synthetic or very tight corks.
